During my political science, psychology and contemporary German literature studies, I began actively engaging in the interplay between media and society, e.g. in research on the impact of media, in communication strategies and in topics such as crowd psychology and modern media.
At the same time, I was active in the field of journalism, working for German newspapers DIE WELT, FOCUS, DIE ZEIT, where my focus was on culture and media. Subsequently, I performed a traineeship at the Milchstraße publishing group (today known as Hubert Burda) and spent several years as an independent journalist covering politics and society for well-known German and international publications.
However, it was not until I became active in the strategic communication and PR sectors that I was able to combine all the aspects I feel are essential to effective, holistic communication. Through my activities with numerous agencies and companies for nearly two decades, I have learned the inner workings of the entire media landscape—from print to digital—implementing successful strategies and concepts for companies, media, brands and products from a myriad of branches and genres. My professional activities have allowed me to collaborate with a variety of people, from seasoned industry professionals to laypersons, with topical focuses ranging from lifestyle to e-commerce. To meet each of these unique challenges, I rely on journalistic thinking and writing to create individualized stories. My core areas of focus are digital transformation, IT and AI.
